The Ambition writing instruments from Faber-Castell impress with their strongly reduced, clear design and high-quality materials. In addition, the processing and functionality of the writing instruments is excellent. The shaft is made of black brushed precious resin, which is contrasted by the high-gloss chrome cap, end and front pieces. The spring-loaded clip, which is designed for continuous loading, is particularly noteworthy here as well. Due to the relatively large and slightly sharp-edged transition between the shaft and the front part, the Ambition fountain pen is only recommended to a limited extent for people who hold the writing instrument very far in front of the shaft. The writing characteristics are very good, thanks to a very round ground steel nib and a perfectly tuned ink flow.
