Classic Italian pen design, high quality materials and soft writing gold nibs characterise the Aurora Optima Auroloide fountain pens. The cap and body of Optima Auroloide writing instruments are made of Auroloid, a cellulose acetate developed by Aurora. The feathers are handcrafted from 14-K/585 gold. The nib of the Aurora Optima Auroloide Bordeaux Chrome piston fountain pen is completely rhodium-plated, the clip and decorative rings are chrome-plated. As a standard we have this fountain pen mostly available in nib widths F (fine), M (medium) and B (wide) as well as FF (fine flex), all other nib thicknesses can be ordered at any time. This extends the delivery time. We currently have the OF (Oblique Fein) nib width in stock and are very enthusiastic about its writing properties.
