The Lamy studio pianoblack fountain pen has a lacquered surface and can be equipped with either Lamy cartridges or a converter. The 14-K bicolor gold nibs allow very gentle writing without pressure. Compared to steel nibs, however, the line widths of the gold nibs are approximately one line wider.
