The Graf von Faber-Castell Guilloche fountain pens are shorter and lighter than the Classic series. All fittings are made of brass and rhodium-plated. These are fountain pens of the medium weight class with a central centre of gravity. The diameter is narrow, ideal for people with narrow fingers or lovers of slim writing instruments.

The surfaces of the fountain pens are engraved with a grain guilloche. The chevron version has a guilloche with a herringbone pattern and is made of natural cellulose. Guilloche means curved line drawing or pattern.

The rhodium-plated version occupies a special position within the Guilloche fountain pens. Their weight of 35 g with and 23 g without cap is higher than that of the precious resin variants.
