For many years, we were repeatedly asked to include a green ink in our Fritz Schimpf ink range.

Now, as the first item for our 145th company anniversary in 2025, the time has come.

Fritz Schimpf grünerblitz [mesmerising green] fountain pen ink is the latest addition to our Fritz Schimpf ink range.

Our grünerblitz ink is a medium to dry flowing, cool looking dark green ink. It is suitable for all fountain pens and is easy to clean.
The name comes from a rarely perceived atmospheric-optical natural phenomenon that can only be observed on very clear days.

The green flash occurs at sunrise or sunset in the upper part of the sun or for a brief moment after it has set.
